Overview

• Four short-form episodes will premiere Saturdays from Oct. 4 to Oct. 25 at 10 a.m. ET/7 a.m. PT, accompanied by companion vertical videos.
• Episodes will stream on Sony’s KidZuko YouTube channel and on ReadingRainbow.org, with no PBS broadcast planned.
• Celebrity narrators include John Legend, Chrissy Teigen, Adam DeVine, Gabrielle Union and Jamie Chung, with appearances by Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Rylee Arnold, Ezra Sosa and Bellen Woodard.
• The series is hosted by librarian and digital creator Mychal Threets, known online as Mychal the Librarian and recognized as PBS’ resident librarian.
• Buffalo Toronto Public Media is reviving the franchise as a co-production with Embassy Row, building on the original show’s literacy mission.
