Overview

• Four new short-form episodes will premiere Saturdays from Oct. 4 through Oct. 25 at 10 a.m. ET on KidZuko, with streams also available on ReadingRainbow.org.
• The series will not air on PBS broadcast stations, according to Buffalo Toronto Public Media’s communications director.
• Mychal Threets, known as Mychal the Librarian on social media and PBS’ resident librarian, takes over hosting duties from original host LeVar Burton.
• Guest lineup includes Rylee Arnold, Ezra Sosa, Bellen Woodard and Ebon Moss-Bachrach, with book narrations by Jamie Chung, Gabrielle Union, Adam DeVine, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend.
• The revival is a co-production of Buffalo Toronto Public Media and Embassy Row and will roll out on Sony Pictures Television’s KidZuko YouTube channel.
