- Northland Properties filed a B.C. Supreme Court claim on Dec. 16 accusing three former employees of misappropriating more than $500,000 in electronic tips between 2023 and 2025.

- The claim says a former manager who resigned on Nov. 3, 2025 may have removed about $494,533 over two years.
- The lawsuit describes use of the Tips Today platform and alleges the former manager requested one-time verification codes from a server on Nov. 3 and Nov. 8 to access the system.
