RCMP Expand Investigation in Nova Scotia Siblings’ Disappearance

National police are reviewing hundreds of tips through specialized units without finding evidence of abduction

Overview

  • RCMP have collected 488 public tips and conducted 54 interviews in the months-long probe
  • More than 11 specialized RCMP units are working alongside the National Centre for Missing Persons and Canadian Centre for Child Protection
  • Some of the people interviewed, including family members, have undergone polygraph examinations
  • Search teams have exhaustively combed the Sullivan trailer home, outbuildings, nearby wells, septic systems, old mine shafts and surrounding woods
  • Investigators continue to analyze hundreds of hours of surveillance footage and caution the complex case may take longer than expected
