Overview
- The Reserve Bank of India has published state-wise bank holidays for June 2025, leading to as many as 12 non-working days for branches.
- Eid-ul-Adha will be observed on June 6 in Kerala and on June 7 across most other states, marking a nationwide closure for Bakrid.
- Regional festivals include Sant Guru Kabir Jayanti and Saga Dawa on June 11 in Sikkim and Meghalaya, Ratha Yatra/Kang on June 27 in Odisha and Manipur, and Remna Ni on June 30 in Mizoram.
- In addition to these dates, banks will close on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month as well as every Sunday.
- Despite branch closures, digital banking channels such as ATMs, UPI, mobile banking and internet banking will remain fully operational.
