RB Salzburg Dismisses Coach Pep Lijnders After Poor Season Performance

The club has struggled in the Champions League, winning just one of six games and ranking 32nd out of 36 teams in the league phase.
Assistant coach Vitor Matos, who also joined from Liverpool, has been relieved of his duties alongside Lijnders.
Salzburg management aims to appoint a new coach by January 3, 2025, ahead of the team's winter training resumption.
