Razer Launches Kiyo V2 Webcams With 4K HDR and AI Image Tools, Starting at $100

Razer is pitching the pair to creators seeking turnkey quality, with AI enhancements reserved for the $150 V2.

Overview

  • Both models are available now at $150 for the Kiyo V2 and $100 for the Kiyo V2 X.
  • The Kiyo V2 uses an 8.3MP Sony Starvis sensor to capture true 4K HDR at 30 fps and adds Camo-powered auto-framing, background removal and adaptive lighting, all configurable in Synapse.
  • The Kiyo V2 offers a 93-degree field of view, while the Kiyo V2 X provides a wide, customizable view and records up to 1440p at 60 fps with autofocus, a privacy shutter and a built-in mic.
  • PCWorld reports the Camo app can tap a Copilot+ NPU for one-click image enhancement and notes Synapse adds features like spotlight focus.
  • Razer positions the V2 for higher-end image quality and AI convenience, with the V2 X delivering core webcam performance as a lower-cost option for streamers and creators.
