Raydium LaunchLab Lets New Tokens Pair With Any Solana Quote Token
The upgrade gives creators control over which asset funds a launch so liquidity can deepen and launch costs fall for meme-focused projects.
Overview
- Raydium announced on Monday that LaunchLab now supports arbitrary token pairings and that LaunchOnSF’s StonkFun is the first integration to go live with the feature.
- The StonkFun rollout required changes to Raydium’s on-chain programs and updates to aggregators and trading terminals so routers can recognize and handle custom quote tokens.
- LaunchOnSF reported deployment costs fell from 0.29 SOL to 0.03 SOL and that liquidity provider fees can be routed back into pools to strengthen market depth.
- Creators can now pick the quote token and reward token used in a LaunchLab deployment, the system keeps bonding-curve migrations in place, and developers may deploy without using the StonkFun API.
- The move responds to competitive shifts after Pump.fun built PumpSwap and aims to keep Raydium central to Solana launches by changing how launches feed liquidity and by reducing sniper and single-wallet concentration.
