Overview

• The levayah is scheduled for Sunday at 11:00 a.m. at Chanichei Hayeshivos, 18 Rechov Brand in Har Nof, with burial at Har Hamenuchos.
• Recognized as a foremost authority on the teachings of the Vilna Gaon, he founded Machon Pirkei Eliezer and produced widely discussed works.
• He served as an editor on the Schottenstein Shas in English and Hebrew, contributed to the Torah journal Yeshurun, and taught at Yeshivas Darchei/Darkei Noam in Yerushalayim.
• Born in the United States in 1957, he was a son of Harav Shmuel Kamenetsky and a grandson of Harav Yaakov Kamenetsky, later settling in Yerushalayim for lifelong Torah research.
• He is survived by his wife, Esther, their children and grandchildren, his father Harav Shmuel Kamenetsky, and a large extended family, with colleagues praising his brilliance, humility, and generosity.
