Raspberry Pi Expands Product Line with AI Add-ons and Branded SSDs

Raspberry Pi introduces new AI-focused HAT+ boards and PCIe Gen 3-compliant SSDs, enhancing the capabilities of the Raspberry Pi 5.

Raspberry Pi has launched AI HAT+ add-on boards with Hailo inference accelerators, available in 13 and 26 TOPS variants, priced at $70 and $110 respectively.
The company has also released its own branded NVMe SSDs in 256GB and 512GB capacities, compatible with the Raspberry Pi 5’s PCIe 3.0 interface.
These SSDs are offered both standalone and as part of SSD kits that include an M.2 HAT+ for easy integration with the Raspberry Pi 5.
The 256GB SSD is priced at $30, while the 512GB version costs $45; kits are available for $40 and $55 respectively.
The new products aim to provide cost-effective solutions for edge AI applications and improve data storage and speed for Raspberry Pi users.
