Overview
- Raspberry Pi raised prices on all Pi 4, Pi 5 and Compute Module 4/5 units with 2GB or more RAM, with increases of about $10 for 2GB, $15 for 4GB, $30 for 8GB and $60 for 16GB.
- The Raspberry Pi 5 16GB now lists at roughly $205, with other examples including the Pi 5 8GB at about $125 and the Pi 4 4GB at about $75, according to current retail snapshots.
- Raspberry Pi 500 and 500+ are included in the increases, while the Raspberry Pi 400 remains unchanged.
- Pricing for 1GB variants is protected, and older LPDDR2-based devices such as Raspberry Pi Zero and Pi 3 are not expected to change due to stockpiled memory.
- The company says surging costs accelerated entering 2026, with some parts more than doubling last quarter, and characterizes the price moves as temporary with plans to unwind them when conditions improve.
