Overview

  • The 500+ is on sale now at $200, with a $220 Desktop Kit that adds a mouse, 27W USB-C power supply, a 2m micro HDMI to HDMI cable, and the Beginner’s Guide (5th Edition).
  • Built on the Raspberry Pi 5 platform, it features a 2.4GHz quad-core Arm Cortex-A76 CPU, dual 4K display output, and dual-band Wi‑Fi.
  • A pre-fitted 256GB Raspberry Pi SSD sits in a user-accessible 2280 M.2 bay with Raspberry Pi OS installed, and a tool is included to open the case.
  • Storage and boot options include the internal M.2 SSD, SD card, or external USB SSDs, and the bay can also host other 2280 PCIe peripherals.
  • The mechanical keyboard uses Gateron KS-33 Blue switches with per-key RGB lighting and an RP2040 running QMK, and it supports aftermarket keycaps with a supplied key puller.
