Rare Super Blue Moon Graces the Night Sky

A unique astronomical event combining a supermoon and a blue moon will be visible through early Wednesday.

Super blue moons occur roughly every 10 years, with the next one expected in January 2037.
The phenomenon involves both a supermoon, when the moon is closest to Earth, and a blue moon, the third full moon in a season of four.
While the moon won't appear blue, its size and brightness will be more noticeable.
The event can be observed best on Monday night but will remain visible until early Wednesday.
