Rare spotless baby giraffe born in Tennessee zoo

A rare spotless reticulated giraffe was born at Brights Zoo in Tennessee on July 31st, believed to be the only one of its kind.
The calf is fully brown in color without the characteristic patchwork pattern seen on giraffes.
This is the first recorded case of a spotless giraffe birth since one in Japan back in 1972.
The zoo has opened a public poll to help name the newborn calf, with Swahili name options like Jamella.
The birth is helping to raise awareness and support for conservation efforts to protect endangered giraffe populations.
