Toronto announced the waiver shortly after an Exhibit 10 deal was reported by Sportsnet’s Blake Murphy.
The maneuver routes an Exhibit 10 bonus of roughly $80,000 contingent on Guerrier remaining with the G League affiliate.
Guerrier’s role with Raptors 905 varied last season as he started 18 games and at times fell out of the rotation, averaging 10.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.0 steals-plus-blocks on 47.6% shooting.
He spent the summer with the CEBL’s Montreal Alliance, posting 16.2 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists.
The 6-foot-8 wing has a 7-foot wingspan and has shown athleticism, rebounding and defensive versatility at the G League level.
