The Toronto Raptors have been coming to Vancouver for preseason games since Steve Nash and the Phoenix Suns lost to Jose Calderon and the Raptors back in 2010.

Overview

  • The Raptors’ training camp will run at the University of Calgary’s Jack Simpson Gym from Sept. 30 to Oct. 3, featuring closed practices until Oct. 2 and a public session on Oct. 3.
  • Their Oct. 6 preseason matchup against the Denver Nuggets at Rogers Arena marks the NBA’s 20th Canada Series game and Vancouver’s seventh time hosting.
  • Tickets for the Oct. 6 Canada Series game will go on sale Aug. 27.
  • The events spotlight Canadian talents including Raptors’ RJ Barrett and A. J. Lawson facing Nuggets’ Kitchener native Jamal Murray.
  • The full preseason schedule also includes games in Sacramento on Oct. 8, at home versus Boston on Oct. 10, in Washington on Oct. 12, back in Boston on Oct. 15 and a finale against Brooklyn on Oct. 17.
