Rapper T.I. Arrested in Atlanta Due to Mistaken Identity

Clifford Harris Jr. was briefly detained over a warrant for another man with the same name wanted in Maryland.

T.I. was arrested at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and taken to Clayton County Jail.
The arrest warrant was for a different Clifford Harris accused of violent behavior and stalking in Baltimore.
T.I.'s lawyer intervened, leading to his release within two hours of the arrest.

T.I. and his wife are currently facing a separate civil lawsuit over allegations of sexual assault from 2005.
