Rapper Naps to Stand Trial for Alleged Rape in 2021 Incident

The French artist is under judicial supervision as multiple allegations of sexual assault surface.

The court of appeal in Paris upheld the decision to bring Naps to trial and maintained his judicial supervision status.
In addition to the 2021 incident, Naps is under investigation for multiple allegations of rape and sexual assault filed by three other women in the Var region.
The accusations against Naps add to a series of sexual violence allegations involving figures in the French rap scene.
Naps' lawyer stated that the rapper will approach the trial with the same calm demeanor he maintained throughout the investigation.
