  • Sentencing is set for February 12, 2026, with the judge indicating a custodial term and an immediate driving disqualification imposed, with the ban’s length to be decided.
  • The collision occurred at 11:33 p.m. on October 18, 2025, on Redbridge Lane East in Ilford; Tamang died in hospital two days later as his family, who traveled to the UK, later attended the plea hearing.
