Chino XL battled lifelong depression and was diagnosed with congenital heart failure in 2020.
His family plans to establish the Chino XL Foundation in 2025 to support suicide prevention and at-risk youth.
The family renounced the unauthorized release of a posthumous album, stating that all rights are owned by his estate.
