• Rapido has enabled Delhi Metro ticket booking on its app through a partnership with the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation and ONDC, offering QR-based e-tickets without the need for separate cards or tokens.
• The app gives first-time metro ticket bookers a free Rapido ride, flat ₹25 bike taxi fares within a 3 km radius, and designated pick-up/drop-off points including women-only zones.
• Integration with ONDC’s open network allows commuters to complete metro ticket purchases and last-mile bike rides in a single platform.
• Rapido’s co-founder Aravind Sanka says the company intends to introduce a unified journey ticket covering both bike rides and metro fares once the new feature gains sufficient traction.
