Overview

• The Rangers reduced their training camp group by 13 players, leaving 48 in camp as preseason begins.
• Eight players were assigned to AHL Hartford: forwards Gavin Hain, Kyle Jackson, Zakary Karpa and Sullivan Mack; defensemen Chris Merisier-Ortiz and Cooper Moore; goaltenders Hugo Ollas and Callum Tung.
