Rangers Trade Ryan Lindgren and Jimmy Vesey to Avalanche in Multi-Asset Deal

The Rangers acquire Juuso Parssinen, Calvin de Haan, and two conditional draft picks as they retool for a playoff push.

The New York Rangers traded defenseman Ryan Lindgren, forward Jimmy Vesey, and unsigned prospect Hank Kempf to the Colorado Avalanche.
In return, the Rangers received forward Juuso Parssinen, veteran defenseman Calvin de Haan, and two conditional draft picks in the 2025 NHL Draft.
The Rangers will retain 50% of Lindgren's $4.5 million cap hit as his contract is set to expire this summer.
New York views Parssinen, 24, as a key addition to bolster their depth, especially with Adam Fox currently on injured reserve.
The Avalanche continue to adjust their roster for a playoff run following the earlier trade of Mikko Rantanen to the Carolina Hurricanes.
