  • Right-hander Jacob Webb was placed on the 15-day injured list retroactive to July 29 after experiencing back spasms.
  • Right-hander Luis Curvelo was promoted from Triple-A Round Rock to fill Webb’s roster spot and will make his major league debut.
  • Webb has gone 4–3 with a 3.75 ERA over 48 innings in 42 relief appearances this season.
  • Curvelo recorded a 3.26 ERA, .211 opponent batting average and 23.5 percent strikeout rate in 34 relief games at Triple-A Round Rock.
  • A native of Higuerote, Venezuela, Curvelo signed with the Seattle Mariners in 2018 and joined the Rangers as a minor league free agent in November 2024.
