Overview

  • Ukraine secured new air-defense systems and renewed partner funding for the PURL mechanism to buy U.S. weapons, Zelensky said.
  • The UK launched Project OCTOPUS to mass-produce Ukrainian-designed interceptor drones with a target of thousands per month, with an initial 1,000 units to be produced for delivery to Ukraine.
  • The UK-led International Fund for Ukraine topped £2 billion and has delivered more than 1,000 air-defense systems, over 600 uncrewed aerial systems, electronic warfare gear and radars, with further shipments due.
  • Ukraine detailed partner pledges including two German Patriot systems and €500 million for PURL, EU ammunition commitments toward 2 million rounds, Norway’s $8 billion allocation for 2026, Canada’s $500 million for PURL, and other national packages spanning drones, F-16 support and 155 mm shells.
  • Rheinmetall and Ukraine finalized steps for a domestic ammunition plant, with land allocated in a designated safe region and broader joint production and repair projects under discussion.
