Overview

  • The Rams reached agreement on a contract with 31-year-old D.J. Humphries on June 12 after his proposed deal with the 49ers collapsed.
  • Humphries brings Pro Bowl credentials from 2021 and has started on both the left and right tackle throughout his career.
  • He spent late 2024 with the Kansas City Chiefs but missed time last season with a hamstring injury and suffered a torn ACL in 2023.
  • His signing and that of David Quessenberry strengthen depth behind starters Alaric Jackson at left tackle and Rob Havenstein at right.
  • Warren McClendon Jr., the Rams’ 2024 fourth-round pick, is now being considered for a shift to guard to address thin proven depth at that position.
