The deal ensures continuity in the Rams' receiving group as they prepare for the likely departure of longtime star Cooper Kupp, who is expected to be traded or released.
General manager Les Snead and head coach Sean McVay are focusing on a younger core, including Atwell and Puka Nacua, to support quarterback Matthew Stafford.
