Rams' Puka Nacua Sets New NFL Rookie Records for Receptions and Receiving Yards

Puka Nacua, a rookie wide receiver for the Los Angeles Rams, has set new NFL records for both receptions and receiving yards in a single season.
Nacua, a fifth-round draft pick out of Brigham Young University, broke the records in a game against the San Francisco 49ers.
He surpassed the previous record of 1,473 receiving yards set by Bill Groman in 1960 and the record of 104 receptions set by Jaylen Waddle in 2021.
Nacua ended the season with 105 catches and 1,486 yards, and was immediately pulled from the game after setting the records.
His performance has made him one of the leading contenders for the AP Offensive Rookie of the Year award.
