Overview

  • McVay said Jackson will join team drills next Monday, work Wednesday and Thursday, and take part in a lighter jog-through on Friday.
  • The ramp-up could position Jackson to play Sept. 7 against the Texans, depending on how practice and medication weaning progress.
  • Throughout camp Jackson participated only in individual drills and jog-throughs and did not take team reps.
  • Los Angeles added veteran tackles D.J. Humphries and David Quessenberry and kept Warren McClendon Jr. ready as depth at left tackle.
  • Jackson missed the final nine games in 2022 because of blood clots and signed a three-year, $57 million deal in February after 29 starts over the past two seasons.
