Ram Mandir Trust Opens Applications For First Chief Executive Officer

  • The Trust posted a formal hiring notice on Monday, July 13, and set 4:00 pm on July 18 as the deadline for emailed applications to searchcommittee.srjbt@gmail.com.
  • Applicants must be 50 to 70 years old, hold a bachelor’s degree, have at least 20 years of managerial experience and be an actively practising Hindu with Vaishnava Ram devotion listed as desirable.
  • The CEO will serve an initial three-year contract, live in Ayodhya, report to the Trust’s general secretary and oversee day-to-day administration, finance, staff, pilgrim services and security.
  • A three-member selection panel—retired Justice Pramod Kohli, retired Lt Gen Vishnukant Chaturvedi and Suresh Haware—will shortlist candidates and recommend names to the Trust.
  • The recruitment is a Trust response to the donation-theft controversy as judicial oversight increases with the Supreme Court issuing notices and the UP SIT ordered to file a status report while several accused remain in custody.
