Ram and Kaulig Unveil Rotating No. 25 ‘Free Agent’ Truck for 2026 NASCAR Truck Season

The rotating-seat entry is designed to boost fan engagement by featuring approved drivers from across motorsports and rewarding the top one-off performance with a separate season prize.

Overview

  • A different driver will race the No. 25 Ram 1500 each week, with names revealed on the Monday before every event and the first Daytona driver set to be announced in February.
  • Free Agent participants will not compete for Truck Series points, as Ram will run a standalone prize program based on best individual race results among those drivers.
  • Ram and Kaulig said the driver pool could include former NASCAR names, racers from other disciplines, and select high-profile cameos, subject to NASCAR and team approval.
  • Interested drivers have been invited to apply to the Free Agent pool by emailing motorsports@ramtrucks.com.
  • Kaulig plans five Ram entries for 2026, with Brenden Queen, Daniel Dye, and Justin Haley confirmed full time, the No. 25 as the rotating seat, and one additional full-time seat still to be announced.
