Sony Pictures has announced a new Karate Kid movie, set to release on December 13, 2024, which will star both Ralph Macchio and Jackie Chan, reprising their roles from the original and 2010 remake respectively.
The film will be directed by Jonathan Entwistle, known for his work on 'I'm Not Okay with This' and 'The End of the F***ing World', with a script by Rob Lieber, who wrote 'Peter Rabbit'.
The plot details are currently under wraps, but it's known that the story will bring together the two disparate strands of the franchise, merging the original Karate Kid movies with the 2010 remake.
