Overview
- The integrated chassis and bus unit at Sarojini Nagar Extension-1, on the former Scooters India site, opens with capacity of 2,500 vehicles a year, scalable to 5,000.
- Ashok Leyland targets total investment of about ₹1,000 crore, with roughly ₹252 crore in the first phase, and projects around 1,000 direct and 2,000 indirect jobs.
