• Speaking at Bhuj, the defence minister said any Pakistani misadventure in the sector would draw a decisive response strong enough to change “history and geography.”
• He accused Pakistan of expanding military infrastructure near the area, describing the build‑up as a sign of hostile intent.
• He virtually inaugurated a Tidal Independent Berthing Facility and a Joint Control Centre to strengthen joint coastal operations, security coordination and rapid response.
• He said Operation Sindoor achieved all military objectives, exposed weaknesses in Pakistan’s air defence and was aimed at countering terrorism rather than escalating to war.
• The messages were delivered during Dussehra events and Shastra Puja with troops, where he highlighted triservice jointness and readiness.
