Rajnath Singh Says Operation Sindoor Continues as Army Day Showcases Power in Jaipur

• Speaking at the Shaurya Sandhya program at Jaipur’s SMS Stadium on Army Day, the Defence Minister said efforts would continue until the ideology behind terrorism is eliminated.
• The Army held a high-visibility parade outside a cantonment for the first time, drawing large crowds along Mahal Road in Jagatpura.
• Military displays featured BrahMos missiles, Arjun and Bhishma tanks, Pinaka rocket launchers, robotic dogs, Apache helicopter manoeuvres and Jaguar jets flying in from the Nal airbase.
• Gallantry medals were presented to families of soldiers martyred in Operation Sindoor, and the mother of Lance Naik Pradeep Kumar fainted on stage and was taken to hospital.
• Singh linked the operation to a push for force modernisation with a goal of building one of the world’s strongest armies by 2047 and highlighted expanding opportunities for women, including NDA admissions since 2021.
