Overview
- The three-day visit began Tuesday with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh arriving in Colombo and the Indian Navy frigate INS Udaygiri docking at Colombo port for personnel exchanges and goodwill activities.
- India and Sri Lanka signed three defence-sector MoUs on Wednesday that include an Indian grant to upgrade six L70 air-defence guns and institutional exchanges between the National Cadet Corps and the two countries’ National Defence Colleges.
