Rajat Patidar Cleared to Play, Set to Rejoin MP for SMAT From Nov. 30

• The BCCI Centre of Excellence granted Patidar Return-to-Play clearance after he completed a 10-day rehabilitation for a left-knee issue.
• He will link up with the Madhya Pradesh squad in Kolkata on Friday and be available for selection from the third round of SMAT matches starting November 30.
• Patidar’s knee trouble first surfaced in MP’s Ranji opener against Punjab on October 15 and persisted after an India A appearance on October 30, sidelining him for subsequent games.
• These SMAT fixtures will be his first white-ball outings since captaining Royal Challengers Bengaluru to the IPL 2025 title.
• Madhya Pradesh, last season’s SMAT runners-up, opened this campaign with a loss to Hyderabad and benefit from the return of their all-format captain.
