Rajasthan Unveils 'Green Budget' with Ambitious Economic and Employment Goals

The Rajasthan government has announced 1.25 lakh government jobs and 1.5 lakh private sector jobs under the Rajasthan Employment Policy 2025.
The budget includes a focus on environmental sustainability, with plans to provide 150 free electricity units for households with solar plants and community solar panels for low-income families.
Nine greenfield expressways spanning 2,750 km will be constructed, alongside significant investments in water connections, road infrastructure, and metro expansion.
The state aims to achieve a $350 billion economy by 2030, with initiatives in industrial development, renewable energy, and mineral exploration.
Social welfare measures include increased pensions for vulnerable groups, affordable loans for women in self-help groups, and expanded benefits under the PM Kisan Yojana.
