Overview

• The RSMSSB opened its online application portal on June 30 and will accept entries through July 18, 2025.
• Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university plus a valid computer certification such as DOEACC O Level or RKCL’s RSCIT.
• The application fee is ₹600 for General, OBC (creamy layer) and EBC (creamy layer) candidates, and ₹400 for other reserved categories including SC, ST, EWS and PwD.
• The first stage is a 160-question preliminary exam totalling 200 marks with one-third negative marking for wrong answers.
• Of the 850 VDO vacancies, 683 are allocated to non-scheduled areas and 167 to scheduled regions under the Panchayati Raj framework.
