Overview
- The facilities will be established across 20 cities, including Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, Udaipur, Bikaner, Bharatpur, Bhilwara and Alwar.
- Once operational, the centres will test applicants for two-wheelers and light motor vehicles.
- Systems will deploy high-definition cameras, RFID tags, real-time analytics and an integrated IT platform to run rule-based assessments under Central Motor Vehicle Rules.
- The agreement was executed by Transport Commissioner Shuchi Tyagi and Maruti Suzuki CSR head Tarun Agarwal in the presence of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and Deputy Chief Minister Prem Chand Bairwa.
- Maruti Suzuki says the additions will expand its ADTT network from 45 to 66 nationwide, complementing its Institutes of Driving and Traffic Research and 23 Road Safety Knowledge Centres.
