Raja Jackson Arrested on Felony Charge in Live-Streamed Wrestling Attack

Booking records list $50,000 bond for the 25-year-old following an August KnokX Pro show where a livestreamed in-ring attack seriously injured Stuart “Syko Stu” Smith.

Overview

  • Los Angeles County inmate records show Jackson was arrested by LAPD on Sept. 18 and booked on a felony, with formal counts beyond the felony classification not yet disclosed.
  • Video from the Sun Valley event shows Jackson entering the ring, slamming Smith to the mat and throwing more than 20 punches as Smith lay motionless before others intervened.
  • Smith was hospitalized and released on Aug. 31 with trauma to both jaws, a maxilla fracture, a lip laceration and the loss of several teeth.
  • Police responded the night of the incident and took a felony battery report, and Kick confirmed Jackson’s streaming account was banned after the footage spread.
  • KnokX said a planned spot devolved into real violence, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson publicly condemned his son’s actions, and a GoFundMe for Smith has raised more than $222,000.
