- South Central Railway reported water overflowing the tracks in the Hyderabad division’s Bhiknur–Tadmadla and Akanapet–Medak sections, triggering emergency operational changes.
- Officials said 10 trains were cancelled, eight were partially cancelled, 16 were diverted via alternate routes, and two were rescheduled.
- Monsoon‑special trains carrying sandbags, boulders, girders, cribs, pipes and sleepers departed from Purna and Kazipet to support restoration.
- General Manager Sanjay Kumar Srivastava monitored efforts from the Rail Nilayam Disaster Management and Response Control room, and Hyderabad DRM Santosh Kumar Varma inspected the sites by tower car.
- Impacts included the cancellation of the Nizamabad–Tirupati Rayalaseema Express and diversions of multiple long‑distance services via Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Warangal and Secunderabad, with helplines issued for major stations.
