Overview

• South Central Railway reported water overflowing the tracks in the Hyderabad division’s Bhiknur–Tadmadla and Akanapet–Medak sections, triggering emergency operational changes.
• Officials said 10 trains were cancelled, eight were partially cancelled, 16 were diverted via alternate routes, and two were rescheduled.
• Monsoon‑special trains carrying sandbags, boulders, girders, cribs, pipes and sleepers departed from Purna and Kazipet to support restoration.
