Rainbow Six Siege Introduces Full Crossplay Across Platforms

Ubisoft's latest update brings crossplay, anti-cheat measures, and new features to the nine-year-old game.

Starting December 3, Rainbow Six Siege will support crossplay between PC and console players with the Year 9 Season 4 update.
Players can choose from platform-specific pools, a consoles-only pool, or a PC crossplay pool for matchmaking.
Ubisoft is addressing cheating concerns with the introduction of an enhanced anti-cheat system and automatic match cancellation.
Console players using mouse and keyboard adapters will be moved to the PC pool for 90 days under the new Mousetrap Penalty system.
The update also includes a new operator, Blackbeard, with a shield upgrade, and various balance tweaks to enhance gameplay.
