Overview
- MoS for Railways V. Somanna said a meeting with Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and Karnataka officials will set the project’s execution path within 15–25 days.
- Larsen & Toubro exited contracts for Corridor 2 (Chikkabanavara–Benniganahalli) and Corridor 4 (Heelalige–Rajankunte), citing lack of land infrastructure.
- K-RIDE rejected the termination as invalid, saying the contracts run until September and October 2026 and alleging L&T sought impermissible price changes and a shift from EPC to BOQ.
