Overview
- Train 26651 will depart KSR Bengaluru at 5:10 a.m. to reach Ernakulam at 1:50 p.m., while 26652 will leave Ernakulam at 2:20 p.m. and arrive in Bengaluru at 11:00 p.m.
- The service will halt at Krishnarajapuram, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palakkad and Thrissur on the Coimbatore–Palakkad route.
- Operations are slated six days a week except Wednesday with an eight-coach rake of seven chair cars and one executive chair car, to be operated by Southern Railway.
- If required, an inaugural special run may precede regular operations, and the railway minister has indicated a likely mid-November launch pending zone notices.
- The approval comes in a batch of four new Vande Bharat routes that lift the network to about 164 services, with this train becoming Kerala’s third on the platform.
