Overview

• Requests for trains departing between midnight and 2 pm must reach the emergency quota cell by 12 pm on the previous day
• Trains leaving between 2 : 01 pm and 11 : 59 pm now require quota requests by 4 pm on the day before travel
• Same-day emergency quota submissions will no longer be accepted to avoid delays in chart preparation and departures
• For services with quotas released on Sundays or holidays, requests must be submitted during office hours on the previous working day
• Ministry officials are urged to verify request genuineness and adhere strictly to guidelines to prevent passenger inconvenience and operational holdups
