Rail Agencies Seize Rs 36 Crore of Narcotics on Hazrat Nizamuddin–Ernakulam Express

  • On July 17, RPF, NCB and CIB officers boarded the Mangala Express at Panvel and uncovered concealed cocaine and methamphetamine during a targeted search.
  • Investigators recovered 2.002 kg of cocaine hidden in rubber-wrapped packages inside a multicolour travel bag and 1.488 kg of methamphetamine in a Mickey Mouse-themed children’s bag.
  • The detained suspect, identified as Nigerian national Etumudon Doris, was taken into custody at RPF Post Panvel while traveling with an infant.
  • The raid was triggered by a tip from NCB Bangalore, showcasing enhanced intelligence-sharing and coordination against rail-based drug smuggling.
