Raids in Dresden and Schleswig-Holstein Seize Drugs, Cash and Weapons, Suspects Held

Authorities say the probes into suspected commercial trafficking continue under prosecutors.

  • Dresden police searched an Altstadt apartment and arrested an alleged armed large-scale cannabis dealer who was presented to an investigating judge and remanded to pretrial detention.
  • Investigators in Dresden reported more than 20 kilograms of drugs seized, including 15 kg cannabis, 3 kg hashish, 1 kg amphetamines and THC edibles, along with €26,000 in cash.
  • Prosecutors said the Dresden suspect stored weapons such as knives and pepper spray for confrontations related to his activities.
  • In Schleswig-Holstein, early-morning raids in Rickert, Hohn and Büdelsdorf were led by Rendsburg criminal police with support from special units, following arrest warrants issued by the Kiel district court as part of a probe active since July.
  • Searches in the north recovered about 80 g of cocaine and a firearm in Rickert, roughly 10 g of cocaine on a 30-year-old man, and about 1.5 kg of amphetamine in Büdelsdorf, with around €7,000 seized and three suspects now in pretrial custody.
