Overview
- Federal, state and military agencies carried out 14 coordinated searches across Jiquipilas, Cintalapa, Arriaga, Villaflores, Berriozábal and Ocozocoautla, detaining two men and a woman.
- Authorities reported seizing firearms, vehicles, drugs, tire spikes, motorcycles, radios, phones and tactical gear during the actions.
- Armed groups burned at least 14 vehicles, scattered puncture devices and blocked stretches linking Ocozocoautla, Arriaga, Jiquipilas, Villaflores and the route toward Las Choapas.
- Capufe temporarily closed the Las Choapas–Ocozocoautla highway in both directions, public transport was halted on key routes and classes were canceled in Cintalapa.
- Security officials said a state Black Hawk and a Bell 407 came under fire during the operation, the aggression was repelled and no casualties were reported.
