Overview
- Reporter Mike Garafolo indicated Las Vegas will add longtime coach Al Holcomb as a senior defensive assistant.
- Holcomb is slated to serve as an experienced voice for newly promoted defensive coordinator Rob Leonard in his first play-calling role.
- The addition balances a youthful staff headed by 39-year-old Klint Kubiak with OC Andrew Janocko, 37, and Leonard, 38.
- Holcomb brings 31 years of experience, including NFL stints as Cardinals defensive coordinator in 2018, interim Panthers coordinator in 2022, and recent roles with the Bills.
- A prior connection links the two coaches through earlier Giants staff roles, offering familiarity as they begin working together.
